So Frizzle is going to spend most of his posts on the coding and the building of the game. I am going to talk more about the business side of things. Hopefully I can give some tips for any aspiring entrepreneurs out there.

I should hopefully run through several topics that anyone building a game or business will run into.

My background is in commercial banking and I have always been on the business side of things. I recently finished school at UVA's Darden School of Business and I have been trying to start out on my own for as long as I can remember. Conrohl is one of the paths I am heading down.

You can always feel free to email me as I truly enjoy speaking and helping anyone with entrepreneurial aspirations.

Hi Brett,
K8 here. Frizzle's lil' sister.. (smaller in size, but older and wise) wise ass really... but i digress..

So would love to pick your brain about business.
I started my own Karate School in May 2008.
It is operated as a Not-for-profit at the moment because it was important to me to acquire a student base and keep operating expenses as close to zero as possible. All is going well but it is time for some new ideas... 2 most popular reasons karate schools tank in the first 6 months...
#1 Boredom-instructor gets bored passes energy to student... student is not challenged and leaves.
#2 Financial issues... most ego driven Newbie Instructors starting out get a huge place with huge overhead expenses. They go bankrupt with in the first 6-8 months because the public loses interest when they arent the latest and greatest any longer.

I think what you and Frank are doing is fantastic and keeping it free till you get prospective clients (in the form of investors or just fellow gamers...) is truly the best route... Thanks to you my brother had me so involved in that Travian game it became the center of my free time for a while...

Anyway, that is my intro and 'two cents' opinion.
Go forth and succeed!!!
And never forget the little people!!! ;-D

K8~
